A little bit! I was a little upset there was no option for lab-grown diamonds
and was worried about local pickup in English but the service itself was wonderful.

The wood grain pattern looked beautiful and unique vs offer ring jewelry option.
The rings are so beautiful! I love how the pattern of the metals turned out.
Being able to separate the forged rings together with my fiancée was a very special moment.

There was a little bit of anxiety because we could not see the exact ring shapes/metal combination before ordering,
but overall we felt very confident.
The long and detailed ring appointment put us at ease: we could take the time to see all the ring options,
learn more about the process, etc.
Q2. What was the main reason for ordering your rings from MOKUMEGANEYA?
We really loved the beautiful wood-grain effect – we wanted rings that echoed something in the natural world.
We also loved the idea of our rings being two halves of the same set of metals.
We looked at other vendors who made mokume gane rings, but your rings were the most detailed and beautifully made.
And because this technique is Japanese, we wanted to order it from a Japanese craftsman.
Q3. What do you like most about your ring?
The beautiful color layers and the asymmetry – they are very unique, and look almost like a natural object.
And we love knowing that the same metal makes up both of our rings.
Q4. How was the reaction of your friends and relatives about your rings?
They haven’t seen the rings yet J (our wedding hasn’t happened yet). But we are very confident that they will appreciate them as much as we do.
